The person behind the system
Kristal Frazier is the Principal and Founder of FundJoy LLC and creator of the Assertive Ask® four-part fundraising system. She has spent 18+ years working alongside fundraisers, nonprofit executives, and development teams to help them raise more with clarity and purpose.
Her clients include grantmakers, universities, associations, and nonprofits across 17 countries. She is a keynote speaker and curriculum developer dedicated to building fundraising capacity worldwide.
It Started With One Grant
As a college student, Kristal wrote her first grant proposal as a classroom exercise. It was funded. She has been in the nonprofit sector ever since.

Launched to bring expert fundraising consulting and training to organizations worldwide through coaching, curriculum, and cohorts.
Created Assertive Ask®
Built a four-part fundraising system that turned the donor conversation from a fearful task into a clear, strategic process.
FundJoy® Education
Developed three learning tracks — Fundraising, Zero Embarrassment Speaking, and Assertive Ask® — delivered in person, virtually, and licensed on demand.
